A sex ed class in Iowa has outraged parents. The kids were shown sex acts on stuffed animals.Planned Parenthood did the presentation for 8th graders. The 8th graders were even shown several positions on how to 'bang.'A few parents were told their kids were also shown pictures. The principal has appologized however a lot of good that did.

The district has no cameras in the school! Haven't we learned yet? It was Science fair day and anyone could have been in that school. the family is still not cleared. Step mom was last to see him. Recently, a woman was sitting hunched over her steering wheel in a store parking lot! After sitting for hours, people came knocking to see if things were o.k. the Blonde woman said she was locked in and shot in the head. She told the passer byers she heard a loud bang and realized her brains were fallinf out. She had been hunched over holding her brains back in! Worried on lookers called 911 and paramedics arrived. I'm not the only person/parent who will not get much help from police even though it is way past time for getting rid of the elementary bully! There are parents who have gone to police charging someone of sex abuse and cops reply well, thumb up their ass, can't do anything. need more proof. The bullies been going for 3 years. I've been thru 2 principals and 3 busdrivers and the bullies still in school. The district tries to say they are taking steps but it takes time. A student can threaten another student with guns and police won't even remove the weapons in the house! Kids are physically abused also and the perp gets many chances to still abuse the child. Even though you ask police for help! They can get seat belt offenders and speeders and not bullies or sex offenders! This country is worse everyday! We need extreme measures and change! There are people being raised to pray and choose not to get medical care for themselves or their children. While people are fatally sick they pray for the patient instead of getting medical attention. It's called Faith Healing! One such case is a boy with illness had parents who prayed and their son died painfully! their son suffered as they stood by asking their God to help! The parents insist their son didn't want medical help he wanted to follow the church. The boy was sick from the time he was born but never saw a doctor to be diagnosed or treated. He would have needed dialysis but could have lived. Were they right of were they wrong!? What exactly is their belief? All this will be judged in court as both parents have been charged with standing by as their son died. They are accused of calling people to pray but not calling doctors. Cases like this happen all the time! Religion vs health care is a BIG issue I have a feeling we will be hearing about more and more.

Donald Harder III of Hadley was sentenced Thursday. He had pleaded guilty in March to one felony count of first-degree menacing and four misdemeanor counts of third-degree sexual abuse, as well as one misdemeanor count of official misconduct.

Ron Cummings has reportedly taking a reduced drug charge sentence ONLY if he testifys against his X Misty and her brother Tommy!

He will still serve 15 years behind bars but will prob get out early with good behavior possibly.

His testimony will most likely have to be good info for the prosecuters to use.

Tommy seems to have helped police in the past. His sister has a similar story saying that Haleigh was killed by a visiting cousin of there's. Cousin "joe' supposedly dumped the girls little body in a river attached to a cinder block. @ blocks found in the water police scanned.

I'm guessing Ron's testimony is about drug stuff however possibly he realizes now Misty has been lying and married him knowing his baby girl was dead. This is a guy who took care of both kids as birth mom ran from her problems!

Now please don't get me wrong, I liked the last one too but he didn't have the right look. Carly is my fave character and this guy fits better! I have to say. I see alot of digraceful things happening in this world involving children & their own parents. It is sickening. I can't believe some people r allowed to have children. May b we need to start liceneces 2 have kids. Mental health checks? There was the sick creep who kept his daughter in the basement and had kids with her. I mean no one relized this?How? How was this sicko not locked up just by looking at him u c he is a scarey danger. There's the chick who lost her kid (supposedly) & didn't even bother to let any 1 know. Seriously no one dug around to find out how a 2 yr old could just disapear?!. There was the couple who burned their kids/stepkids by putting them in the dryer & claiming they like 3rd degree burns. No 1 in the laundry mat thought that might b a problem? their was the mom who 4 got 2 drop her kid 2 daycare & it died in the car. No 1 noticed an unttended baby sitting in a parked car? These r just some examples of people who had no right to have a kid. I don't believe in day care where children get hurt or sexually assulted, spanked, etc. My kids have never been to a babysitter. If u have a kid-raise it. Raise hem right. Protect them. Care for them U r their gaurdian. I believe in marriage-a solid relationship b 4 having a child. Toby my Turtle

I have always wanted a turtle. Something about them. After I was hurt my kids & husband surprised me with a turtle to cheer me up. I had no idea how really cool turtles are. He (maybe it's a she?) has a beautiful red trim around his shell. He has a vibrantly green head. He has yellow streaks throughout his head. His legs and arms are chubby and his little blackclaws are ticklish against my skin. He eats turtle pellets and enjoys them much! He is funny to watch eat. He snatchs his food with confidence! My son found a $5 aquarium with a stand & light for him.He also has an out door pool. !Toby (my turtle) is also an interior designer! Every time he gets fresh water he move his logs and rocks and pine cones to where he wants them! I love to pick him up to eye level and eyeball him, He gives it right back. What a stare. We take him for daily walks around the yard and is quite fast for a turtle-he gets far! He is alot more entertainment than the t.v. & he sure did cheer me up. He cheers me up everyday!

I have been following that missing toddler case involving Casey & Caley Anthony. I have a theory based on the facts I've seen and would like to get it off my chest. I think Casey-the mother- was playng games on her family & things got out of control.I think deep inside her poor parents are torn that their daghter could be up to no good concerniong Caylee but I don't buy tha it is surprising to them. Perhaps there is a drug problem.Perhaps the person holding on to Caylee got cold feet when they realized they could be in trouble. But if that were the case the family seems like they just want their grandaughter back so why not return her? I saw the cadaver dogs hitting on spots which makes me uneasy. A lot of time has passed. It doesn't look good. Lee Anthony seems like he may know something is odd about his sister and she is paranoid of her family but he feels like he can help and he wants to believe his sister's stories. I can't wait for an end to sll this. The most IMPORTANT thing is Caylee.

The king of Queens is one of the funniest shows EVER! I laugh out loud always but sometimes I laugh so hard I cry. The situations they get into & most of the time they create them themselves is hilarious.Just the way they look at eachother! Arthur the live in the basement is too funny. murdered wives suspected husbands

What is this sick trend of wives (mostly they are moms too) found dead and husbands being guilty? I mean seriously. They always get caught. They leave their children with no parent. They go to jail or are put to death. Why not simply ask for a divorce or get over the fact that someone wants a divorce from you!?. How do you make vows and then do something horrific like that? No one said life was easy but to turn to murder as an option is gross! Husbands are always the first suspect besides. No matter how shady a spouse is murder is not the answer. Pain can drive the sanest person over the edge crazy! I mean sever pain. It'll make the nicest person mean. Severe non subsiding pain is exhausting. It'll drain the life out of a person. Differences with Siblings

I can't believe how different kids from the same parents can be! I love to see it. One likes chocolate, one loves vanilla. One is quiet, one is obnoxious!I've seen it time & time again. Some people say it matters what order kids are born in- I don't buy it. Maybe it depends on how much time they spend with each parent. I doubt it. One is serious, one is silly. One is thin, one is heavy. These things are equally interesting to see. One likes to sing, one likes to dance. One likes to play, one likes to lay. Could it be genes? Maybe, I guess. One wants to talk calmly, one wants to yell. Is it their observations in life? one likes bright colors, one likes black. is it choice or maybe wanting to be different? Interests me anway?!.

Mourning Parents

I just have to say that I think parents who lose a child and go on to do great things with their life deserve to be told how brave and strong they are. I don't know how people get through this type of death. I can't say I understand what they are going through but I can say the pain must be unimaginable. UFC bloodbath

Last night I saw the Chris Lyttle and Josh Koschek UFC fight. (I hope I spelled their names right!) Anyways, Josh ended up winning but first he torchered Lyttle. Tori Spellings show

I watched the Tori Spelling show this once to see what it's all about. I don't know anything about them really. Anyways, she was worried about her husband scuba diving with a scuba instructor that was female. As pregnant as she was she climbed aboard a boat to check the situation out. Now, any normal hubby would have said forget it. Especially with a pregnant hormonal wife and a t.v. camera. Then Tori obviously gets sea sick and the scuba instructor is all over her husband in front of her like nothing. I would have thrown her from the boat! Then Dean loses a watch Tori gave him and it's scuba chick to the rescue! All in all I felt the baby is the best part.

underaged and engaged

I don't think all young couples should go out and get engaged. Disasters can happen. however not every young couple ends in disaster. In fact, older couples can end in disaster too. Some young people have a better head on their shoulders than their parents have combined! I remember how wrong people thought it was when I moved in with my husband as teens, before we were married. Oh, and no I wasn't pregnant like some people ASSumed. Isn't it better to know someone before marrying them? What's the purpose of going through the legal stuff and paperwork if you haven't investigated your partner? Is it better to have kids with a stranger? Kids and money issues will make or break a couple. These were things as a young couple everyone faces. Through life and death and tons of other people's divorces, after a decade of marriage, our age never got in the way!

Have you ever run into anyone in a public place that you don't remember? First they make a big deal about knowing you causing others to stare. Then they blare your name like a loudspeaker. Oh, and you're like 'who is that again?'Then they try to get all personal and you know better than to talk to strangers! You're also wondering if you forgot that person because you hate them. Are you betraying yourself just by saying hi? It's akward and it's uncomfortable and it can all be avoided if people would just not say hi! If you haven't talkes in 20 years there's probably a reason. Don't say hi to me now!

R.S.V.P. or not!

What is up with r.s.v.p. dates for parties? No one seems to take them seriously these days. It is common respect to answer an r.s.v.p. if someone requests one. I don't know how many parties I have thrown and r.s.v.p. never works. I don't ever have a correct number of guests accounted for. I have had people bring other people after bot responding theirselves! I've had people say they are coming and no show no call. I've had people call after the specified date. I've had people come late. I've had people come so late we were leaving! Didn't know they were coming in the first place! Now, because I am respectful of the r.s.v.p. I do it. I love when you can never get through! It's busy. It rings and rings. The answering machine cuts off. I've tried to r.s.v.p. to a mailbox that was full for 5 days in a row!R.s.v.p. huh? More like a pain in the b.u.t.t.

Swapping Wives

If you have never watched Wife Swap the t.v. show you should atleast once. Who are these people? Who is really willing to leave their family and go to a stranger's house to live for two weeks. No frickin way! I love my husband and kids too much to send some wacko over! Some of these families are in need of psyciatric help! Some times the houses are so dirty people are afraid to stay.Sometimes they argue with their 'new' spouse and head for a motel in a city that is strange to them.The kids are often forced to side with their father or the stranger who gets to make their own rules the second week. I've seen tempers flair. It isn't safe. Personally, I watch for the psycholoigcal and mental breakdowns these people bring upon theirselves on national t.v. I am waiting for the day they swap wives and the wives fall in love with their 'new' husbands and don't want to return home. That would make good t.v.!

A parents death

There is alot to say about the death of a parent. In my case, my father passed away surprisingly. Well, he was sick alot but he always pulled through. Somehow it was still a shock. I didn't know what to expect on top of the shock, saddness, anger, scariness, the screaming and shouting and crying at the top of your lungs. then htere's the trip to the hospital to sign paper work. I call it death work. Your faced with staring at your parent who is now deceased and who's soul is noticebly absent. You kinda realize they are gone but still think they could return at any moment. Then there's the phone calls. Oh, hi by the way, my dad died today. The responces on the other end are horrifying! They scream, they cry, they ask if your sure, they get totally silent, and they drop the phone tying up your line for the next call. There is an abundance of phone calls coming in at all hours. If you can sleep for a bit someone is calling to offer condolences and start your crying all over any time they want. Get caller I.D. O.k. so now there is the funeral process. Ugh, picking a casket. Yeah, that box looks great for the man who made and raised me. A BOX. There needs to be a location for a memorial gathering. The people who own these funeral homes are creepy! My skin felt like crawling. They help with the obituary and in my case printed the wrong date in the paper. Jerks. It cost me $60.00 to correct. then a 'final resting place' needs to be picked out. I chose a moseleum. The wall is a better place to put my dad who didn't want to be in the ground. Then at the gathering you have to see the corpse if it is an open casket showing. I didn't want an open casket. Mt dad looked peaceful after death. Sleeping like. That wasn't so bad compared to the freak show I saw when I got there. The rest of the family decided on open casket. It shocked me to the point of having to leave the room. Now your seeing all kinds of people from your past. Everyone tries to comfort you. Half of these people you can't stand. Half of them were not even around more than twice. It is jam packed and hot.One visiter even breast fed in the empty room across the hall. Classy, I know. After this ordeal, there is mass. the box gets rolled in. People carry the man who used to be your rock. Then you progress to the burial sight. You really feel it leaving the box, your parent, and then you go. People like to go eat after funerals. It's like social hour. Who can be hungry at a time like that? The people you spend life avoiding stalk you into talking. After all this, life goes on. The phone calls and visits end. People get busy and fade away. You are faced with living without a solid and important person in your life. They say it gets easy after time passes. It does not. It gets harder. it can cause depression. You try to keep their memory alive. The saddness and absence never leave.

I visited a public market

I know the perfect place to study psychology! The public market. I asked myself so many questions while I was there. I wondered where the people I came across came from. Was I crazy or was it them? Wow, the characters! Where else can you find a hairy, overweight, let's be honest, smelly, cigar smoking, shirtless man attempt to sell you fish. Not just fish. The smellyist fish ever. Even cigar smoke can't dull the smell.It was half baked all ready from the sun My question-where did that man come from? O.K. then there was a wheelchair rambo. He was running people down and yelling miscellaneus stuff at a variety of people. My question-why is he alone? There's a pie lady. She hasn't the slightest idea what's happening. I don't think she's speaking English anyway! Oh, but she does have a dog shedding all over her. Who doesn't want a fur filled pie? My question-does she actually sell a pie? Did she drink a bottle of whisky before coming? There's a couple who sells stuff that's not worth a quarter. When you ask to take a quarter off the all ready over priced stuff they are insulted! They blame eachother as the reason why they can't. My question-are they serious? No one else even stopped. I did to be nice! Can 25 cents hurt that much? The fried dough guy will serve you fried dough with the side of sweat and sugar. Worse than that he'll sing you Sinatra. The worst Sinatra ever. Across the lane a fruit seller is yelling 'fruit for sale'. It is a chorus from hell! I admit I was partial to the older woman who sold my some vintage jewlery. She smoked about 6 ciggaretts while we talked. My question- how is she still alive? I couldn't breeth when I walked away. The young couples booth was being run by their children. They were the ripe old ages of maybe 5 & 7. My question-where is their future heading? All in all I learned the public market is free and full of questions!
